Monday, Sept. 26, 2011

6:39 a.m. – Officers assisted a stranded motorist at 13th Avenue and 13th Street.

3:53 p.m. – Justine Frahm, Malcom, reported harassment.

7:51 p.m. – Stray cat in the 600 block of 13th Street. It was taken to Countryside Veterinary Clinic.

Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2011

6:20 p.m. – Harassment complaint at 417 16th St.

Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2011

12:46 p.m. – Officers assisted the Belle Plaine Area Ambulance in the 1800 block of Eighth Avenue.

2:45 p.m. – Stray dog in the 800 block of 19th Street. It was taken to Countryside Veterinary Clinic.

Thursday, Sept. 29, 2011

12:38 p.m. – Ambulance assist in the 200 block of 10th Street.

Friday, Sept. 30, 2011

3:12 p.m. – Officers arrested Paul Daniel Ramirez, 49, 1104 15th St., for domestic abuse assault causing injury. He was transported to the Benton County Jail.

4:30 p.m. – Todd Emerson, Belle Plaine, reported damage to his vehicle after a bottle was thrown from a moving Belle Plaine school bus. The involved parties are handling the incident.

4:45 p.m. – Vehicle unlock at Dollar General.

Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011

12:02 p.m. – Ambulance assist in the 1500 block of Rainbow Drive.

5:24 p.m. – Stray dog in the 1800 block of Ninth Avenue. It was taken to Countryside Veterinary Clinic.

Sunday, Oct. 2, 2011

6:51 p.m. ­­ – Officers responded to 712 Seventh Ave. after a dog bit a person at 605 Eighth St. Charges are pending against the dog’s owner for city code violation.

Monday, Oct. 3, 2011

7:38 a.m. – Ambulance assist in the 1300 block of Ninth Avenue.

11:09 a.m. – Civil dispute at 116 11th St.

12:14 p.m. – Dog running at large in the 1400 block of Second Avenue. Officers were unable to locate the animal.

A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
