The Belle Plaine Ministerial Union will host its weekly Lenten soup luncheons beginning Wednesday, Feb. 29, at Christ United Methodist Church, 708 15th St. Serving will be from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., followed by a devotion. Free will donations will be accepted for ministerial union programs.
The following clergy will lead devotions during the five-week series: Feb. 29, the Rev. Steve Hubbell, Christ United Methodist Church; March 7, the Rev. Jack Andrews, Christian Fellowship Church; March 14, Deacon Joe Behounek, St. Michael’s Catholic Church; March 21, the Rev. Dean Duncan, First Lutheran Church; March 28, the Rev. Jack Andrews.
An ecumenical Good Friday service is planned for Friday, April 6, at Christian Fellowship Church at noon.
