What Cheer flea market set to go Aug. 2, 3 and 4

It’s that time of year as the Collectors Paradise Flea Market in What Cheer opens on Saturday, Aug. 3 and Sunday, Aug. 4. Early bird is Friday, Aug. 2.

Gates open at 7 a.m. each day.

Organizers expect from 250 to 300 deale3rs from the Midwest on-hand selling a wide variety of antiques, collectibles, old tools, primitives, post cards, glassware, stamps, coins, jewelry, furniture, baseball cards and much more.

Food and drink concessions are provided by local community service organizations.

Admission to the flea market before Saturday is $2 per person. Admission Saturday and Sunday is $1 per person each day.

The Flea Market takes place at the fair grounds in What Cheer, Iowa, which is 20 miles south from Interstate 80 (exit 201) on Highway 21.
