The NEWSpapers of Poweshiek, Iowa and Benton counties are planning our annual “Celebrating Love” special section and we need your input!

If any of these questions bring to mind a memory or suggestion (or you have another wedding/love anecdote), please write it down and send it to us. We’ll compile your memories into this special section and print it in January in the Marengo Pioneer-Republican, Williamsburg Journal Tribune and Belle Plaine Star Press Union and Grinnell Pennysaver. Photos are welcome to accompany your memory.

In addition, we are planning a “Then and Now” section for the bridal issue. If you and your spouse have celebrated a milestone anniversary (25, 40, 50 years or  more), bring us your wedding photo and a current photo. We’ll print them, free of charge and readers will be able to try their hand at matching couple’s wedding photos with their current photos. Include your address, when and where you were married and how many children and grandchildren you have.

Photos will be returned if a self-addressed, stamped envelope is provided, or we can hold your pictures for you to pick up at the office where you submitted them.
